Цель: совершенствование навыков монологической речи на тему «Нью-Йорк»
Задачи:
- совершенствование лексических навыков, навыков чтения, аудирования и письма;
- закрепление страноведческого материала на тему «Нью-Йорк»;
- повышение мотивации к изучению английского языка;
- формирование у учащихся способности к участию в межкультурной коммуникации;
- развитие языковой догадки и логического мышления;
- воспитание дружеского отношения между участниками коммуникации.
Формы организации познавательной деятельности учащихся:
фронтальная, индивидуальная, парная
Методы обучения:
фронтальный опрос, словесные, наглядные, репродуктивные и проблемно-поисковые методы, методы стимулирования учебной деятельности, методы контроля и самоконтроля в обучении.
Технологии работы с информацией:
Здоровьесберегающая технология, технология коммуникативного обучения
1. Организационно-мотивационный этап (4 мин)
Good morning, children! I’m glad to see you! Sit down, please!
What is the date today?
What day of the week is it today?
Do you like travelling?
What city would you like to visit? Why?

Look at the pictures and guess the topic of our lesson.

Work in pairs. Make up the sentences from the words:

5. Монологическая речь (10 мин)
1) Work in pairs. Look at the parts of the pictures. Put the parts of the picture together. There are some parts that you don’t need to use. Say what place of interest it is.
Разрезная картинка: Детям необходимо собрать картинку с изображением достопримечательности Нью-Йорка из нескольких частей назвать, что изображено на фото. Обязательно должны остаться лишние части картинок. Каждая пара получает разные картинки.

2) Work in pairs. Give two or more facts about the sight you have. Answer the questions:
1. What place of interest do you have?
2. What is it famous for?

Дети представляют свою достопримечательность.

Let’s do morning exercises. Imagine we’re on the way to the airport.

7. Quiz (Викторина) (6 мин)
Do you know New York well? Answer the questions. Put up the card with the correct answer.

8. Диалогическая речь (10 мин)
1) Work in pairs. Put the phrases of the dialogue in the right order.
Разрезной диалог: Дети получают разрезанные фразы диалога. Их задача – собрать диалог в логическом порядке.

- Hello. How are you?
- I’m fine. And you?
- OK. Where did you go in summer?
- I visited New York City.
- Really? Who did you go with?
- With my family.
- Great. What did you like best?
- I enjoyed Central park. It was the most beautiful place in the city. I could see a museum and a zoo there. I also watched the birds swimming in the pond.
- Wonderful. Would you like to go there again?
- Yes, certainly.

2) Work in pairs. Think of your own dialogue. Act it out.
Дети придумывают свой диалог о поездке в Нью-Йорк (по образцу).
